David Chrzan serves on staff at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California as Pastor Rick Warren’s Chief of Staff.    As the central coordinating communication point for the Office of the Pastor and Communications Team, his position is strategic in managing the structure and flow of staff, information processes and projects that protect and promote the interests of Rick Warren.    David’s leadership provides the liaison and implementation of Rick’s vision, balancing the calendar of events while administering the day to day operations.   He oversees and advises a communications and correspondence staff and a research team that compiles the public communication and information for Saddleback’s database system.

 

David first came on staff at Saddleback in 2000 as a 301 Ministry Pastor, developing and creating a vision for staff and volunteers, culminating in the launch of a volunteer program that is still used today for high level involvement in supporting the ministry of Saddleback church.    

 

David is a graduate of Colorado Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and a Masters Degree in Organizational Management.     He has 10 years of law enforcement experience where he recruited and hired new officers.   David led the development of training programs and was instrumental in the analysis and strategic planning of a $23.6 million regional information resource and data transmission system to execute the vision of a “paperless” law enforcement environment.

 

David and his wife Jenny have been married 21 years and have three children;  Alyson, (20), Jordan (18) and Kelsi (13).
